Onboarding
When you first access the Orderly portal, the onboarding wizard guides you through initial setup. Here’s what each step covers.
Step 1: Organization Profile
Set up your organization’s basic information:
- Name — Your company or team name
- Timezone — Used for scheduling and display
- Industry — Helps us tailor the experience
Step 2: Connect Your First Bridge
The wizard prompts you to connect at least one integration:
- E-commerce — Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom storefronts
- Shipping — FedEx, UPS, USPS, or 3PL platforms
- Marketplace — Amazon, eBay, Walmart
- ERP — NetSuite, QuickBooks, or custom systems
Select a bridge type and follow the authentication flow. Most bridges use OAuth or API key authentication.
Step 3: Initial Sync
After connecting a bridge, Orderly performs an initial data sync:
- Orders from the past 30 days are imported
- Existing shipments and fulfillments are linked
- Inventory levels are snapshot (if supported)
This runs in the background — you’ll see a progress indicator in the portal.
Step 4: Explore Features
The final step highlights key features:
- Operations — Bulk actions on your data
- Dispatchers — Automatic routing rules
- AI Agent — Chat-based operations assistant
- API Keys — Programmatic access
