Custom Roles
Custom roles let you define granular permissions for team members beyond the three built-in roles.
Built-in Roles
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| Owner | Full access, including billing and danger zone |
| Admin | Full access except billing and ownership transfer |
| Member | View and operate on data, limited settings access |
Creating Custom Roles
- Go to Settings > Roles
- Click Create Role
- Name the role (e.g., “Shipping Manager”)
- Select permissions from the available list
- Save
Permission Categories

Assigning Custom Roles
Assign custom roles when inviting or editing members:
- Go to Settings > Members
- Select a member
- Change their role to your custom role
- Save
